There’s a world, or a universe, of difference between ‘Christians’ i.e. the followers of Paul’s concept of a ‘Christ’ (borrowed from ancient Egypt) and followers of the two simple teachings attributed to Jesus.
While Christianity developed among Gentiles throughout the Roman Empire as an instrument of the state, the followers of Jesus in Palestine remained as Jews and disappeared from the historical scene, Christian and Jewish. Where is the Jesus tradition today?
